Welcome to my blog. As a Second Amendment Democrat (and I hope I'm not the only one) I believe that the political system in the USA has gone completely off track and that it cannot be fixed. In the current post 9-11 climate, when our rights and freedoms continue to be trampled upon by the government, this is unacceptable, and this blog will attempt to rouse some passion and response from concerned citizens. I will be posting links to provocative actions perpetrated by the GOP and other stories that help point to the threat.

What I am is a 69-year old Caucasian male who believes in equal rights for all regardless of race or gender. My basic rule of thumb is simple - you can do anything you want, as long as it does not impinge upon my right to do whatever I want. Note that I explicitly did NOT include 'creed' in that statement. This is because religion is creating the majority of problems facing the world. The rest of these problems are rooted in simple greed.
